Allows entering the actual levels of either input or output
For input level calibration you need a calibrated signal generator for the range you are interested in.
For output level calibration you need a calibrated power meter for the range you are interested in.
For the mixer curve editing you need a selective power meter such as a spectrum analyzer.
Before editing one of the input curves you must have done a level calibration
Before editing one of the output curves you must have calibrated at least the 30MHz output level using the OUTPUT LEVEL option in this menu
- INPUT LEVEL allows calibration of the dBm reading by entering the know level of the signal under marker 1. The updated calibration value is stored in the leveloffset configuration variable. Power calibration is removed by setting the value to 100. Setting the actual power sets the leveloffset for all frequencies. A detailed power level correction versus frequency is available using the correction command
- OUTPUT LEVEL allows entering of the actual level at some frequencies, at least the 30MHz output calibration must be done before editing one of the output curves
- 30MHz LEVEL allows entering of the actual level of the automatically activated 30MHz output
- 1GHz LEVEL allows entering of the actual level of the automatically activated 1GHz direct output
- 1.2GHz LEVEL allows entering of the actual level of the automatically activated 1.2GHz adf output
- IN CURVE allows entering of frequency dependent correction of the input level for the 0-800MHz range, see input curve edit
- IN LNA CURVE allows entering of frequency dependent correction of the input level for the 0-800MHz range with LNA active, see input curve edit
- IN ULTRA CURVE allows entering of frequency dependent correction of the input level for the 800MHz-6GHz range, see input curve edit
- IN ULTRA LNA CURVE allows entering of frequency dependent correction of the input level for the 800MHz-6GHz range with LNA active, see input curve edit
- OUT CURVE allows entering of frequency dependent correction of the output level for the 0-800MHz range, see output curve edit
- OUT DIR CURVE allows entering of frequency dependent correction of the output level for the 800-1130MHz range, see output curve edit
- OUT ADF CURVE allows entering of frequency dependent correction of the output level for the 1130-4400MHz range, see output curve edit
- OUT MIXER CURVE allows entering of frequency dependent correction of the output level for the 1130-5300MHz range, see output curve edit
